Summer is slowly drawing to a close and, unfortunately, that also means that Ping! 2013 is winding down across the country.
However, there’s still one last chance to get your ‘Ping!’ on before the festivals finish as the big Ping! finales are setting up at locations across the country.
If you’ve had fun on the Ping! tables this summer, make sure you get down to the Ping! finale locations (listed below) on the dates displayed as there’s sure to be plenty of fun and frolics in the showpiece events to close the fourth year of the popular Ping! programme.

Ping! Cambridge Finale commences at 10am with free play at all sites around the city but with a focus on Christ’s Pieces. At 1pm the focus switches to Kelsey Kerridge Sports centre where a series theme of mini tournaments and competitions will be held to find the King/Queen of Ping! Cambridge.
Cornwall: August 25th
Heartlands Pool (TR15 3QY)– King of Ping! tournament taking place with Paralympian David Wetherill
Leicester: August 25th
Humberstone Gate (LE1 1WL) 11am – 4pm – Part of the SportsFest 2013 event
Liverpool: Finale TBC
London: August 30th
The Crossing, Kings Cross Estate (NC1 4AA) – 7pm – King! (or Queen) of Ping! Pingo; Stoke Newington International Airport’s Ping Pong Daredevil performances; Heroes of Ping! Art Exhibition; coaching, music and refreshments throughout.
Tournament grand prize:
· Ping! Table tennis table to be donated to a charity / local community group of your choice
· £100 cash prize
Middlesbrough: August 18th
Ormesby TTC (TS3 8PB) – 9:30am ‘Meet your Match’ – prizes include table tennis table and one month’s free coaching.
Oxford: September 7th
