Ormesby wrap up their Premier British League campaign with the opportunity to exert huge pressure on Urban TTC in the race for the league title.
The Cleveland side, who currently top the table, face Drumchapel on Sunday, knowing victory would put them three points ahead of Urban TTC, who play their final two games of the season next weekend.
As a result, the league leaders have named their strongest side, with four internationals making up their quartet.
Portuguese star Tianming Zhao will be joined by Swede Viktor Brodd and English duo Darius Knight and Daniel Reed as they look to secure a win that will ensure Urban TTC will have to win their final two games to win the title.
Ormesby’s vastly superior sets ratio means Urban will have to win both games next week against the Scots and Ormeau.
Drumchapel, meanwhile, saw their faint title hopes ended last week, and they’re expected to field a weakened side once again, just as they did against Ormeau last time out.
In Premier Division ‘B’, BATTS and Fusion battle it out, with the latter needing a result to bolster their hopes of survival.
Fusion are currently joint bottom of the division with North Ayrshire, but can go level on points with BATTS and Cardiff with victory.
But with BATTS’ sets ratio substantially stronger, Fusion need a strong win to weaken the possibility of finishing bottom, which will ultimately be decided when Cardiff and North Ayrshire lock horns next week.
Kazeem Adeleke and Joseph Hee starred in last week’s win, and they’re expected to feature again for the visitors.
