The European Olympic Qualifying Tournament has been pushed back from February to April.

Originally scheduled to be played from February 10-14, the tournament will now take place between April 21 and 25. The tournament will still be held in Lisbon.

The European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) Executive Board made the decision in the light of continuing covid restrictions in Europe, and requests from some member associations to play at a later date.

The GB squad was announced earlier this month and comprises the top two English men – Liam Pitchford and Paul Drinkhall – England’s No 1 woman Tin-Tin Ho and the Welsh No 1 Charlotte Carey.

England Men’s Coach Gavin Evans will coach the men’s team, while Wales National coach Stephen Jenkins will oversee the women’s squad.
