The English No 1 was defeated in four straight by world-ranked 419 Kim Hayeong of South Korea in the second preliminary round, having had a bye in the first.
Alongside Norway’s Wenting, they defeated a pair from Singapore in the preliminary round before exiting to seventh seeds Barbora Balazova & Hanna Matelova in the last 16.
