The countdown is on to the big day! It’s National #TableTennisDay on Thursday July 14.

Last year’s celebration saw more than 200 events around the country, plus Sky Sports coverage – and it reached more than four million people on social media.

Now the challenge is to beat that this year.

So what can you do to get involved? #TableTennisDay is a chance for every member of the table tennis family to celebrate and share all that is best about our sport. It’s about working in partnership across the community to enthuse and inspire people to pick up a bat, get active and pick up a sporting habit for life.

Your first step is to download our online toolkit, which provides help, advice and suggestions for how to get the most out of the day, whether you are a club, school, workplace or any other organisation.

Once you’ve downloaded the toolkit, we’re here to help you promote your event in your local media and offer any other guidance.

As for Table Tennis England’s plans, this year we’ve chosen the iconic Brighton seafront for the flagship celebration and will be partying on the prom in company with England aces Kelly Sibley, Andrew Baggaley and other special guests.

We’ll be beside the seaside from 10am on the day, so if you’re in the area, do pop along and say hello and join in the fun.

Wherever you are, why not enter our fantastic competition to win a custom table tennis table for your organisation? All you have to do is design a special #TableTennisDay character – for details, click here

You will be able to follow all the build-up to the day on our website and on social media – look out for the #TableTennisDay hashtag on Twitter and sign up to our Thunderclap below:
