Liam Pitchford and Gavin Evans

There was a wealth of talent in the semi’s, the usual suspects of Drinkhall/Knight were there, going up against Doran and Ware who have both been mighty in the singles, but their combined strength wasn’t enough to stop the three times defending champions from reaching yet another final.

Drinkhall/Knight bt. Doran/Ware 3-0, (11-6, 11-7, 11-7)

Pitchford/Evans who are both still in contention in the men’s singles went up against Reed/Yarnall who were both recently knocked out in the last round. It was the younger pairing of Evans and Pitchford, our top juniors who came out on top, giving Evans his second final of the championships and setting up another clash between Pitchford and Drinkhall, who will come together in the singles semis.

Pitchford/Evans bt. Reed/Yarnall 3-0 (1105, 11-7, 12-10)
