The March world rankings have been released by the ITTF and it wasn’t a good one for the English players.
This can only be as expected though as there were two World Tour events, held in Kuwait and Qatar respectively, which none of the Olympic Shortlisted players attended.
There were just two international events in February with English competitors taking part; the Czech Junior and Cadet Open and the Safir Swedish Junior Open.
As seen in the ETTA Rankings, it was a good month for Vicky Smith, who moved up 133 places in the world rankings from 825 to 692 following her performance in the Czech Republic.
