With table tennis around the country suspended indefinitely, local leagues are in the process of finalising their seasons.

It is a decision for local league committees how they do so, but Table Tennis England has produced a guide outlining the options and how they work on the TT Leagues platform.

The options include freezing a league and finalising tables based on current points awarded or on points per match, sharing the points for remaining unplayed matches or adjudicating the results of unplayed matches.

Our guide goes into more details on these, with instructions for league administrators on how to carry them out within TT Leagues.

Table Tennis England is continuing to plan for a full 2020/21 season. However, we recognise that the situation will evolve and we may have to adapt our plans. We will continue to communicate with clubs, leagues and individual members as the current restrictions are eased and a way forward for sport becomes clearer.
