Thanks are due to Vaughan Allington, Tim Cawston, Charlie Bateman, Shirley Pickering, Gordon Sanders, Peter Wilson and Mike Smith for running the events, to Leicester Grammar School and Knighton Park for use of their venues and Rutland Sport for their support as part of Team Leicestershire.

The previous weekend, two Leicestershire teams won the ESTTA Zone stage – Burbage (Boys’ U11) and Manor (Girls’ U16) – and another two were runners-up – Wigston College (Boys’ U19) and St Peters Academy, Market Bosworth (Girls’ U11).
