The first weekend of the Junior British League at Tipton Sports Academy was completed over the weekend.

Wales hold a commanding lead in Girls Premier – undefeated against all the other five Premier teams, The Welsh Girls also dominate the averages with Angharad Phillips and Chloe Thomas both unbeaten over the weekend.

The Boys Premier division is a much closer affair with two teams on 7 points (Burton Uxbridge 1 and Ellenborough) closely pursued by two others on 6 points (BBATT 1 and OLOP – Impact). The top of the averages shows Igor Morais of DHS London Progress and Zsolt Sarka of Ellenborough tied with just one defeat each.

The final round of matches on the Sunday was delayed for about an hour or more due to a power failure in the area. This meant that one 5th round match in division 3B remains to be played Deutsche Bank Guernsey v Rugby Academy will be played early on the second weekend as Guernsey had a plane flight to catch.
