Joola Plymouth hold a slender advantage over Fusion at the top of the Premier Division going into weekend two of the Women’s British League.
An unbeaten first weekend, with player of the weekend Evie Collier and Lois Peake both boasting 90% records, leaves them a point clear of their London rivals, who they beat first time around.

The final-round meeting between the top two is likely to be pivotal, though four-placed Knighton Park may have a say – they were the only team to take a point off the leaders on weekend one. Colebridge, in third place, are three points off the summit but may become interested if the top two slip up – they have the chance to make a move when they tackle Fusion in the first match on Saturday.
In the lower divisions, there are a number of unbeaten records at stake, notably the 100% registered by Division One leaders Byng Hall.
They are spearheaded by Naomi Jackson, who boasted an individual perfect record of 8/8 on weekend one, as they try to hold off Drumchampel, who are two points behind. There will be an early meeting between the top two, in Round 7 on Saturday afternoon.
In Division Two, Joola Plymouth’s second string lead the way and must be heavy favourites as they hold a three-point lead over Draycott II thanks to their record of four wins and a draw – against third-placed Halton II – on the first weekend. Marketa Myskova led the way, winning all 10 of her matches.
The unbeaten record in Division Three belongs to Sussex Blades, but was only good enough for third place as they drew four of the five matches. They are still very much in contention though, as they are only a point behind Brighton and leaders Cardiff. Indeed, only four points separate the entire division.
Three unbeaten individual records, for Claire Heller, Sabina Devereux and Mia O’Rahilly Egan, were behind Dun Laoire topping the eight-team Division Four, which they lead by two points from NETTS and Ormesby. The top four – Drumchapel II are four – should stay that way going into the split after the first two rounds of matches this weekend.
Wensum scooped the team of the weekend award last time and head Division Five on match-difference from Cippenham. Both sides won three and drew two on weekend one, including 3-3 when they faced each other.
