In the last school term at Warwickshire College, staff and students alike were encouraged to pick up their bats and play Instant Ping Pong anytime and anywhere – taking photographs and videos.

Games were held all over the campus with over 1000 students taking part across the three months they ran their Olympic Instant Ping Pong Challenge.

The legacy of the event is that 15 IPP kits will be located at the six Student Union centres so that the students can continue to play in the future. The best photo from the alumni came from two aboriculture (tree surgery) students who climbed a tree and played right at the top!

The competition was eventually won by Adam Gibbard (pictured above) who won an iPad to help him with his studies as well as an IPP pack (to relieve him of his stresses!). Gibbard said: “I am thrilled to win the iPad and it is really going to help me study on the train back and forth to college.”
