Sport England is asking for help from the table tennis family to shape delivery of the government’s Sporting Future strategy.
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) published the strategy at the end of last year.
It stressed the importance of promoting sport – whether taking part in activity, volunteering or watching live sport – to people from all backgrounds, plus engaging groups who don’t take part in sport as regularly as others, such as women, disabled people, older people and those from poorer backgrounds.
Sport England, the principal funding partner of Table Tennis England, is currently working on its strategy to achieve the goals set down in Sporting Future.
And members of the table tennis family are being asked for their expertise and input into the strategy via Sport England’s online consultation, which is available for the next five weeks.
