Dexter St Louis

Father and daughter Dexter St Louis and Rheann Chung have entered the Heritage Oil Open.

St Louis, world ranked 277 and the Trinidad & Tobago No 1 is a five-time Caribbean Men’s Singles champion and competed at the Olympics in 1996 and 2008.

He has had a World ranking as high as 175 and has entered both the men’s singles and the over-40s event.

Rheann Chung

His daughter Chung is also No 1 in her country and is ranked No 279 in the World. Both live in France and play in the professional French league.

Meanwhile, Spain’s No 2 woman Galia Dvorak (WR 96), has also joined the field for the event. The Ukraine-born player competed at both the Beijing and London Olympics.

The women’s competition is really warming up with a very strong field of 40 players, which is now full.

The Heritage Oil Open is free to spectate and the Main Open events are being played on Saturday 5th July at K2, Crawley up to and including the Quarter finals. The semi-finals and finals will be played at BT Sport studio in London on Monday 7th July 2014.
