Helshan Weerasinghe has been called up for the World Junior Championships in Vendee, France.
The Tonbridge teenager will join Tin-Tin Ho to mount the English challenge at the event from November 29 to December 6.
It will be Weerasinghe’s first appearance at the Worlds, while Ho competed at the last edition in Shanghai, reaching the last 64 in the singles and the last 32 in the doubles, alongside Russia’s Sadi Ismailov.
