TT Kidz came to homes around the country at the first session of TT Kidz Afterschool Club Live on Tuesday.

More than 50 participants joined in the session on the Zoom platform, and in many households it was not just the ‘kidz’ but the whole family getting involved.

The session provided a mix of fitness activities and table tennis specific challenges. Each activity got progressively harder to allow different ages of participants in the session to get involved.

You can see a flavour of the session below.

TT Kidz Afterschool Club Live will be running another four sessions taking us through to May half term. The sessions are on April 28 and May 5, 12, and 19 and aim to develop table tennis skills which many have already learned during TT Kidz sessions at clubs but also provide activities they can practise at home. To sign up, please fill in the short form below.

Each session will finish with a TT Kidz challenge which is an activity for participants to practise during the week. They can send videos to Table Tennis England and we will award prizes for the best attempts.

Table Tennis England Development & Volunteer Officer Colette Gooding said: “It was great to see so many families and children involved with the session, table tennis is a great activity which can be played at home and I’m really looking forward to being involved over the next few weeks.”
