The Grand Prix focus turns north for the second event of the season in Preston, and entries are already stacking up for what promises to be a busy competition.

The Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre at the University of Central Lancashire is the venue – a top-class facility which has hosted several England internationals and premier domestic events in the last few seasons.

The competition is on Saturday November 3 – when the Banded events will take place – and Sunday November 4, which will see men’s and women’s singles, veterans’ singles, the under-21 events and the open doubles.

And remember, the prize pot for each Grand Prix event has increased this season, with prizemoney available in every band and the men’s and women’s singles winners each earning £500.

Almost 200 competitors entered the Crawley Grand Prix – who many will be in Preston? Entries close on October 14.
