Entries are open for the annual UK Fire Service Sports and Athletic Association table tennis championships.
The tournament is open to all UK Fire & Rescue operational, non-operational & support staff past and present, and players of all standards are welcome to take part in what will be a fun event.
The venue is London Shoreditch’s Britannia Leisure Centre, Hyde Rd. London N1 5JU, on Sunday April 12, from 10am until 4pm.
All entrants will automatically take part in singles & doubles competitions unless otherwise indicated and entrants will be drawn into groups of four or more and will then play each other on a round-robin basis, with the top two advancing to the knockout stages.
Consolation singles will be held for entrants who fail to make qualification into the main draw on a straight knock-out basis. Depending on entries, there will also be women’s and veterans’ tournaments.
Time permitting, a table tennis taster session and master class will also be available for beginners, guests and spectators.
Anyone interested in taking part, please send your name and contact details to Chris Beckley, national secretary of the FSSAA table tennis section on 0203 757 2918, 07958 735935 or via email to [email protected] or [email protected]
Entries close on April 4.
