This week we feature some action photos from the Alan and Jose Ransome Collection taken at the Commonwealth Championships, Isle of Man, 1985.

Desmond Douglas won the Men’s Singles and the Mixed Doubles with Alison Gordon. The first photo below shows, possibly, the only image of Des defending. Other English successes were Karen Witt in the Women’s Singles and both team events. Other shots show Alison Gordon, Alan Cooke, Carl Prean and two unknowns.
