The officials have been named for the 2012 Olympic Games with five British officials being involved in the handling of the tournament.

The officials are led by Michael Zwipp from Germany who will act as tournament referee while Graeme Ireland (AUS) and Yao Zhenxu (CHN) will be the technical delegates.

The three deputy referees include Stuart Sherlock from GBR as well as Mohamed Bassyouni (EGY) and Maria Jose Ferrer (BRA).

Of the 24 umpires who will officiate at the ExCeL from Saturday 28th July to Wednesday 8th August 2012 there will be four British representatives.

Thomas Purcell, Michael Strode, John Mackey and Jonathan Whitaker have all been selected to use their expertise at the Games. Congratulations to all those who have been selected.
