ETTA VOLUNTEER, CLUB AND COACH AWARDS 2014
The 2014 Awards to recognise the Volunteers, Clubs and Coaches of the year took place during the Senior National Championships in Sheffield with presentations followed by a buffet lunch with members of the ETTA Board, staff, winners and their guests.
The event was introduced by Judy Rogers, ETTA Safeguarding and Ethics Manager, when she took the opportunity to praise the dedication and enthusiasm of not only the award winners but all the hundreds of volunteers without whom table tennis would not happen.
Sandra Deaton, the newly elected Chair of the ETTA, praised the hard work given by all the volunteers within table tennis whether as administrators, coaches, technical officials, providing transport or any of the other countless jobs needed to make sure that table tennis continues to grow. She acknowledged that many volunteers freely give hours of their time to our sport.
All the individual citations and photos for each of the winners can be found under the Volunteering section of the ETTA website.
