England men and women have both been drawn against Guyana in the first stage of the Commonwealth Games team event in Australia.

The men’s team will also face Ghana, while the women’s other opponents will be Canada when the competitions get under way on Thursday in Gold Coast.

England women, who are seeded fourth, are first into action as they start their campaign against Guyana at 12.30am UK time on Thursday. They are on the table again on the same day as they face Vanuatu at 7am UK time. The women’s groups were redrawn on Wednesday after an error came to light in the rankings calculations.

England men are seeded second and will take on Ghana first at 3am UK time on Thursday, followed by Guyana at 9.30am UK time.
