Don Parker will lead the commentary team for ITV4’s live coverage of the National Championships, with Joanna Drinkhall and Colin Wilson among those also in the commentary box.

Having represented England more than 200 times at table tennis and later worked as National Coach for the then English Table Tennis Association, Don brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as lead commentator.

Currently Sports Director at Commonwealth Games England, Don will be joined on air by Joanna, a three-time Women’s Singles National Champion, Commonwealth Games gold medallist and England international who will add her expert view as co-commentator.

Colin Wilson, a former director of Table Tennis England and England international who has previously commentated for Sky Sports and BT Sport, will also be adding his voice to proceedings.

ITV4’s coverage will be presented by Neil Cole and Louise Beckett. Louise was a key part of the live presentation team at the Excel Arena for the London 2012 Olympic table tennis event, while Neil has more than 15 years’ experience as a live TV host in sports as diverse as football, motorsport and skateboarding.

There will also be special guests and interviews during the three-hour slot from 3pm on Sunday March 20, featuring the Men’s Doubles, Women’s Singles and then Men’s Singles finals.
