The First weekend of the Womens British League is now complete

DHS Greenhouse Progress stand proudly on top of the Premier Division, three points clear of their closest challengers Ormesby by virtue of a 4-2 win over them, Egle Adomelyte, who tops the Averages with 10 wins from 10 matches, beat both Karen Shepherd and Karina le Fevre who also lost to Tressa Armitage, Rachel Farquhar won against Chloe Whyte to complete the win.

Division 1 still cannot separate the two leaders who drew with each other Poole Ladies and Halton TTC 1 will have to see what the second weekend brings but for now Poole Ladies are top on Games average.

The other 4 divisions all have unbeaten leaders leading by 2 or 3 points. Division 2 sees Sportingbet Guernsey A with a 2 point cushion over Woolwell. Division 3 is lead by Byng Hall A again with a 2 point lead over Fusion WAGS. In Division 4 and 5 the lead is three points, in division 4, Halton TTC 2 lead Morpeth Greenhouse A, in Division 5, AICES lead Fusion Ladies.

The Team of the weekend was Fusion WAGS and the Woman of the weekend was Evie Collier.
