Sycamore TTC’s Jason Ramage has won the Volunteer of the Year honour at the Nottingham City Sports Awards.
The award, sponsored by 1 Nottingham, recognises a person aged 18 years and over who has shown significant commitment to sport or physical activity in a non-coaching capacity.
Jason was nominated for his tireless work – as well as being vice-chair, he manages all the club’s teams, including eight National League teams, and 13 local League teams.
He is the team manager for the side which was crowned British champions for the first time and he has successfully applied for, and coordinated 27 Sportivate projects.
The judges were told that during Sycamore’s 20-year history, no one had put more effort into making the club a success than Jason.
Sycamore were also nominated in the Amateur Club of the Year category, for the second year running, and the Team of the Year category.
