A young player and his friends enjoyed a training session with former England international Andrew Rushton after winning a Table Tennis England competition.

Nathan Swainson won our direct debit competition after his mother Kate renewed his membership by direct debit.

As a result, the 13-year-old who plays at Hillcourt Table Tennis Club at the leisure centre in Bramhall near Stockport, won a coaching session with Rushton.

He and his pals Josh, Penny, Kuba, Joe and Sam took part in an enjoyable and productive two-hour programme at Bramhall.

The players’ parents and coach Alan Blears, who runs the club, were also in attendance.
