Tin-Tin Ho had no problems getting through the preliminary stages of the women’s singles in Glasgow today.

The only member of the England team in action, the 15-year-old won both her matches 4-0 to join her colleagues in the knockout stages.

“I felt pretty good out there – everything went according to plan and went quite well,” said the teenager.

“I’m feeling motivated because obviously we were so close to a medal in the team event and I’ve just got to move on in the singles.”
