Just under 200 players will ensure the first Grand Prix of the season at Crawley is a busy one.
K2 is the venue for the event on Saturday and Sunday 22 and 23 and the field includes Commonwealth Games medallist David McBeath and Paralympic champion Will Bayley.
McBeath is second seed in the men’s singles behind Chinese player Jiawang Song, with Mike O’Driscoll and Ismaila Akindiya completing the top four seeds.
In the women’s singles, Hannah Hicks leads the seeds ahead of Emma Vickers, Emma Torkington and Welsh youngster Anna Hursey.
The event is the first of a revamped Grand Prix programe, with more prize money at stake in the five competitions throughout the season and no overall series prize money.
