There are just 50 days until the Pro Tour Grand Finals kick-off in London in November and the ETTA will be providing you with constant coverage from now – through to finals day.

It is also less than a year till the Olympics so the next few months preparation could be crucial for our Team GB athletes to ensure they are playing at their very best when the big day comes.

During the run-up to the Grand Finals we will provide you with profiles of all the 16 table tennis players who made the British Olympic Long List of selection from which, just three men and three women will be selected to compete next year.

The Pro Tour Grand Finals then is a great opportunity for these British athletes to put forward their case to the selection committee.

We will also have stories from Jeremy Wilson, esteemed jounalist for The Telegraph, that profile the regions that will be involved in the competitions from; the ‘rest of the world’, through Europe and into the powerhouse of China, while Team GB’s hopes will also be assessed.

If that’s not enough there will also be pieces by journalist and former table tennis Olympian, Matthew Syed, who gives his insider perspective on the typical day of an Olympic athlete as well as a Pro Tour Grand Finals preview.

If you are going to the Grand Finals, or even if you are not, give us your opinions on the Pro Tour, the Olympics, the players and anything else that comes to your mind. We especially want to hear from you about your table tennis experiences or, if you have great (or humerous) anecdotes from previous Olympic Games you have attended or watched.

You can do this by keeping in touch with our Twitter page or leaving us your feedback on our Facebook page.

Remember, tickets are on sale for the Grand Finals so, if you missed out on Olympic tickets – this is your chance to see the same athletes battle it out in the Olympic arena ahead of next year’s games. The choice is in your hands.

The World’s top table tennis players will be competing in the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals at ExCeL, London on 24-27 November 2011.
