Coming soon! Table tennis at London Pleasure Gardens

During the Olympic period  The Hub will be transformed into London’s Largest Indoor Live Site and London’s Biggest Sports Bar with the addition of a big screen showing live Olympic sessions.

In a celebration of sport, music and art there will be customised table tennis tables on show for players to have a go and try their hand in competitions while watching Olympic sports on the big screen.

The Hub has teamed up with the British Fencing Association who will be putting on a series of daily demonstrations showing a different side to fencing, hosting a go fencing/ duelling area with foam swords, offering fencing tuition from international fencers and will also be bringing a few celebrity guests.

On the 6th August ITV will be coming to The Hub to film this event. During the Olympics they will be touring around London on the ‘Beat Bus’ with Dave Berry as the host. This will then be screened on TV that evening. They are very keen to have Dave participating in activities on the day especially in a fencing bout and a table tennis session.

There may also be a World Record Rally attempt which would provide fantastic publicity for all involved – it’s what all National Governing Bodies involved in London 2012 deserve.
