There will be 36 teams competing in the 2015/16 season of the Clacton & District League, one fewer than last year.
The Nomads Club has entered one additional team whilst Brotherhood and Windsor have each dropped a team.
Once again the League will operate three divisions.
Division One : Brotherhood B, C and D; Nomads Panthers and Lions; Windsor Condors, Eagles, Hawks and Kestrels; Walton A, B and C.
Division Two : Brotherhood E, F, H and I; Nomads Tigers, Jaguars and Bobcats; Windsor Harriers, Owls, Magpies and Buzzards; Lawford.
Division Three : Brotherhood G; Nomads Pumas, Leopards, Wildcats, Lynx, Cougars and Ocelots; Windsor Kites, Penguins, Swallows and Ospreys; Walton D.
The season starts on Monday September 21, with the last playing day on Friday April 22, 2016.
The Closed Championships will take place over the weekend of April 16 and 17 at the Coastal Academy Sports Hall.
The Handicapped Singles Tournament will be played on Saturday February 6 and the Junior Combination Tournament on Friday March 4. The venue for both these tournaments is Windsor’s St James’ Hall.
The Knock-Out Cup Final is scheduled for Tuesday April 26 at the Brotherhood Hall.
Next year’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday June 7.
The League will run four teams in the Essex Inter-League – Men (Team Secretary, Felipe Rodriguez), Juniors (Ferdy Rodriguez), Veterans (Colin Webber) and Super-Veterans (Colin Beaumont).
* Players are reminded of their personal responsibility to register with Table Tennis England before the season starts. This can be done online, by post or by telephone. The registration fees this year are £10 (senior) and £5 (junior).
