Although the Grand Prix events may have finished for 2012, the season will start up again in January with the Cardiff Satellite Grand Prix on the 26/27th January and you can enter now!
So far the 2012/13 season has provided a roller-coaster of results in the men’s and women’s singles with no less than seven different winners from the four events so far.
While Karina Le Fevre leads the women’s singles rankings with titles from Liverpool and Newcastle respectively, the other honours have been shared out among the top dogs of table tennis in Britain.
The men’s singles has been particularly cosmopolitan with winners from England (Chris Doran), Scotland (Gavin Rumgay), Ireland (Paul McCreery) and Wales (Ryan Jenkins).
In the new year, the Grand Prix series heads into the belly of the dragon with the Welsh capital hosting the Cardiff Satellite Grand Prix on 26/27th January.
Expect a strong native contingent in force led by ‘Grand Prix King’ Ryan Jenkins and the continually impressive junior girls of Charlotte Carey, Chloe Thomas, Megan Phillips and Angharad Phillips.
Entry closes on the 10th January so book your place before Christmas to avoid disappointment.
