Tom Jarvis, Marcus Giles, Alec Ward and Luke Savill will once more battle it out for the honours at Burton Uxbridge with a new victor sure to be crowned.
Last year’s Champion Helshan Weerasinghe has now progressed into the junior boys age group leaving one of the ‘big four’ favourites for the title, but who will be in form come the 23-24th February?
In 2012 it was Jarvis who fared best, finishing as runner-up to Weerasinghe, while Giles and Ward found the going tougher in sixth and seventh respectively. Savill was not in attendance.
It’ll be a new winner in the cadet girl’s singles too as Maria Tsaptsinos has also moved up the age group in the new season. This leaves the field open for Tin-Tin Ho to begin as firm favourite while Emily Bolton and Letitia McMullan are among those who will hope for a surprise result.
