Emma Vickers & Caroline Hallows - Nottingham

The British Universities Sport returned to Sheffield for the fourth year for the team finals for 19 sports events at 13 venues over the City. The English Institute of Sport (EIS) was the venue for this season’s men’s and women’s semi-finals and finals and for the men’s trophy final.

Final
Nottingham Trent beat Kent 3-1
This was a magnificent double for Emma Vickers of Nottingham Trent. In February in her first year at university she became the Universities Women’s Champion and here at the EIS Sheffield with partner Caroline Hallows took the team championship trophy.

Nottingham beat King’s College London 9-3
It is expected that Nottingham will go on to play in the European Universities Championships being staged in Madeira in July.
