The Board of Table Tennis England has approved a new Support and Advisory Network which builds on the current departmental committee structure, reflects the changes in the past year and most importantly, looks to the future.
Being able to draw on the expertise of our members remains fundamental as Table Tennis England progresses. Departments have been restructured and Table Tennis England is now looking to supplement and support the professional activity with a network involving volunteers.
The Network includes two different aspects:
1) Support Groups for those operational roles not undertaken by staff
2) Individual Advisers for those operational roles undertaken by staff
All will work to and with Heads of Departments reporting to the Chief Executive and Board, which have established a Network Group – chaired by Mike Smith. This Group will work with the Heads of Department during June and July initially to finalise groups and individuals involved so that the Network can operate as fully as possible from August 1st 2014
All current committee members will automatically be considered for roles within the Network and will be contacted as the project progresses.
