The pioneering work of Bounce Alzheimer’s Therapy (BAT) to help those living with dementia through table tennis has been featured by a website for older people.
Ian Craigton-Chambers, Founder of the BAT Foundation, recently spoke with The Elder about creating the world’s first therapeutic table tennis table.
Designed to be used in hospitals and care homes for dementia patients, the table not only promotes exercise and improves cognition, it also enables carers to actively participate in the therapy.
