Elite sports car driver Johnny Mowlem has found a new way to boost his training regime, thanks to young table tennis star Anaya Patel.

The former European Le Mans Series GT champion has been working with England Youth Squad member Anaya at the Kingfisher Club in Reading, and has also provided some sponsorship for her.

The partnership was featured on a Sky Sports film broadcast this weekend, which you can watch below.

It was a good weekend for Anaya, who recently won bronze at the Cadet National Cup, as she was also named Female Junior Sports Personality of the Year at the Reading Sports Awards. Jamie Liu and Felix Thomis were also shortlisted for awards at the event.
