“Our tournament has gone from strength to strength with increased numbers every year from over the UK and Europe and we are expecting a sell out this Easter,” said JTTA President Chris Band. “Early indications from our Referee are that the entries are coming in thick and fast. I would therefore urge all those wishing to enter to send off their application forms as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. As well as the standard Grand Prix events on the Saturday and Sunday we also have a full day of team events on the Friday for 2 man teams which have proved hugely popular as well. There will also be a four day Masterclass for senior and junior players led by John Hilton and Brian Kean just prior to the Grand Prix. We find that people come to Jersey for some top quality competition in the pursuit of large cash prizes and also tack on a holiday break in our beautiful Island. As each entry comes in the prize fund increases from the minimum which is already £2,500! We have negotiated an excellent price at the nearest hotel and car hire as well. Visitors are also hosted by the JTTA at a complimentary welcome party on the Friday night,” added Band.

5th NatWest Jersey Open Grand Prix table tennis tournament takes place 22nd-24th April 2011.

Entry forms are available here and ETTU website and also the JTTA website: www.jtta.org.je
