It’s the first England double-header on home soil for almost three years – and now is the time to buy your tickets.

The Leopards men and women will play the home legs of their European Championships qualifying play-offs on the same day in Preston on Tuesday April 11.

The Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre at the University of Central Lancashire will host the fixture as the men take on Slovakia and the women face Spain.

And it’s two for the price of one in every sense with tickets costing just £6 for adults and £4 for juniors – the same as when England women played Germany in Preston in December.

It will be the first time both the senior England teams have competed on the same day in this country since 2014, when they faced Australia in a pre-Commonwealth Games warm-up, also in Preston.

The men’s squad will be the same as beat Netherlands 3-0 in the final group match – Paul Drinkhall, Liam Pitchford, Sam Walker and David McBeath.

The women, who qualified for the play-offs with a brilliant 3-2 win in Slovenia, will be represented by Kelly Sibley, Tin-Tin Ho and Denise Payet – a first Senior appearance for the youngster who recently reached the women’s singles semi-finals at the PG Mutual National Championships.

The winners of the ties will qualify for the top (Championship) division at the European Team Championships in Luxembourg later this year, while the losing nations will be in the second-tier Challenge Division.

The respective away legs will be on the following Tuesday, April 18.
