New students at Leeds Trinity University were invited to a Ping Pong Party as part of Freshers week at the Horsforth Campus on Monday 19th September. The students took part in a social competition in the Student Union area with music and food adding to the party atmosphere. Sports Development Officer, Kris Hargreaves commented- ‘We see Table Tennis as a great activity to initially engage the students in some form of activity and get to know other students. However we are also keen to offer the sport as part of our PE Teacher Training qualifications and will be holding a Table Tennis England Teachers Award later in the year.’
