Chris Doran is top seed as he looks to add the Medway Grand Prix title to his victory in the opening event of the season in Liverpool.
There can be no repeat of the thrilling men’s singles final from Liverpool, as Scotland’s Gavin Rumgay – who was beaten by Doran – is not on the entry list.
But Doran will still face a stiff test at Medway Park in Gillingham, led by No 2 seed and last season’s overall runner-up, Matt Ware.
Abbie Milwain, the women’s winner in Liverpool, is absent this time around. The No 1 seed is England Commonwealth Games ace Hannah Hicks.
She will lead the field in search of the same prize money as the men following the Table Tennis England announcement at the start of the season.

Please note, there is no Women’s Band 1 in Gillingham because of lack of entries.
Meanwhile, a new satellite event has been added to this season’s GP programme. The Sussex Satellite Grand Prix will take place at the K2 in Crawley on January 3rd and 4th, 2015.
