Olympian Adam Pattantyus is the latest European star to confirm entry for the Heritage Oil Open.
The world No 86, who represented Hungary at London 2012, will feature in the event in July.
Joining him will be compatriots Peter Musko (WR 308), Daniel Schaffer and Szolt Szel, while the Women’s Open has an entry from Petra Lovas (wr76).
Pattantyus, Musko and Schaffer are no strangers to these shores having all competed in the British League.
Meanwhile, there will also be a Polish contingent at the event, including Filip Szymanski (WR 220), who was defeated 11-8 in the fifth by Liam Pitchford at last year’s tournament.
With him arrives Jakub Kosowski (WR 127), who has significant form having won two challenger tournaments in Germany recently. On the women’s side they bring Marta Golota, Antonina Szymanska and Daria Luczakowska, all experienced international standard players.
The Heritage Oil Open takes place from 4th-7th July, with the first three days at K2 in Crawley. The semi-finals and finals will be played on the evening of Monday 7th July 2014 at BT Sport studio, will be edited into a two-hour programme and will be broadcast on BT Sport on Saturday 12th July from 2-4pm.
Entry to spectate at the K2 is free. Entry to participate is full with the exception of the junior/cadet events on the Friday and a few spaces on the morning of Sunday July 7 in the bands.
