Haddenham have won the Aylesbury and District Table Tennis League for the fifth year running.
The league has had a healthy season throughout its four divisions, with the competitive Premier Division seeing some compelling table tennis and attracting outstanding players from Milton Keynes, High Wycombe and Oxford leagues.
The Haddenham A team, represented by Andy Misseldine, Darren Palmer and Mark Scott, finished top for the fifth year in a row.
Craig Brown, a Milton Keynes player representing Bierton, topped the averages on 100 per cent with Anthony Gorman, an Oxford player representing Haddenham B, second on 92%. New top players this year include Sanga Quamina (High Wycombe and Haddenham B) on 82% and Jon Bayliss (Nottingham and Bierton) on 70%.
The most improved player is Jon Abungan (Haddenham B) on 68% and the winner of the first UK Filipino Championships.
