Christmas comes early at the Butterfly Cardiff Grand Prix with a high calibre list of contenders ready to battle for the final Grand Prix prize of 2013 from the National Sports Centre in the Welsh Capital.

Led by English Men’s No. 4 Daniel Reed and Women’s No. 3 Hannah Hicks, the year ending showpiece on December 21-22nd contains a number of the British Isles’ best players including Welsh stars Ryan Jenkins, Yongbo Zhang, Charlotte Carey and twins Angharad and Megan Phillips as well as highly ranked English players Sam Walker, David McBeath, Mike O’Driscoll, Lewis Gray and Tressa Armitage.

The tournament will follow the usual Grand Prix format meaning a full day’s play for all players on Saturday and Sunday before English table tennis takes a break for the holiday festivities.
