Essex Police have informed us that 42-year-old Grant Solder of Rowan Grove, Aveley, has been charged with nine counts of fraud by false representation following an investigation into bogus table tennis courses.

He is due to appear at Basildon Crown Court for trial on May 26, 2015.

The ETTA has been made aware of concerns relating to the Grant Solder Sports Agency Summer School, due to be held from August 3 to 6, 2013. We have passed this information to Action Fraud, who have advised us to inform any players who have paid Grant Solder in relation to this event or have any other related concerns to contact them on 0300 1232040 (or see: http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/)
