Tin-Tin Ho was defeated in her final two matches at the 2012 World Cadet Challenge in Guam but she will take a lot of experience from the tournament to the levels needed to be the best.

Although on Sunday she lost both her singles play-off to Soo Wai Yam Minnie (to eventually finish sixth) and also her doubles semi-final to the Asian duo of He Zhoujia and Mima Ito she wasn’t overawed by her opposition.

In fact, she can take the positive that her team, singles and doubles run were all ended by the combination of world number 1 Zhoujia and world number 2 Ito. In the singles event Tin-Tin’s sixth place was the second best result by a European.
