The third weekend of the Non-Premier British League sides took place last weekend and it proved to be the undoing for a couple of unbeaten records amongst the leading packs.
Both BATTS I and Woodfield III lost out for the first time in their respective divisions with the latter suffering a double weekend defeat. However, there are no such problems for Drumchapel Glasgow II who still retain their 100% record in Division One North. Though because both they, and Barrow II in fourth place are ineligible for promotion, it’s looking good for Halton (2nd) and Derwent (3rd) for the Premier Division play-offs.
Also in with a shout of the play-offs are the prestigious Ormesby I club who look on course for a place in the showdown in May after picking up 19 points out of 20 so far.
