The Table Tennis England Schools’ committee has been busy planning for the 2021/22 season and has made the decision to hold the Finals of both the Butterfly National Individual and Team Competitions over the same weekend and at the same venue.

This will be at WV Active in Wolverhampton over the weekend of April 2nd-3rd, 2022, with the Individual finals on the Saturday and the Team finals on the Sunday.

The structure of the Team and Individual Championships will otherwise be unchanged. Other dates for that year’s Team Championship are Zone Finals on January 8th–9th and Regional Finals on February 5th-6th.

Using just one weekend for both Finals is easier for the organisers in terms of logistics and will mean that schools having players in both National Finals will be travelling on just one weekend rather than two. The earlier date for the Individual Finals should also prevent examination clashes for players.
