During these difficult times everyone is looking at new ways of communicating with friends, families, work colleagues and this is the same for all of us working in sport.
Even though we are not able to hold playing sessions at the moment we all still need to be aware of our own and young people’s safety at this time.
A lot of coaches across sports are using virtual platforms to be able to engage with their players, do some inter active workouts or just simply to keep in touch.
Our safeguarding page on the website has a lot of information about e-safety so please check it out but also the NSPCC has issued some really useful guidelines which are aimed towards internet schooling but some of the information contained is really helpful for anyone using the internet and virtual platforms to contact and keep in touch with young people.
