The World Team Championships have been provisionally rescheduled to take place from September 27 to October 4.
The Hana Bank 2020 World Team Table Tennis Championships were originally due to have been played in Busan, South Korea, from March 22-29 but was postponed at the start of the coronavirus outbreak.
The first back-up dates of June 21-28 were also cancelled as the pandemic took hold around the world.
The proposed new dates in Busan would be just a week after the European individual championships in Poland, assuming those are played.
In a statement, the ITTF said they and the Korea TTA will continue to monitor the situation, with the priority being the health and safety of players, coaches, fans and officials.
* May 2 update: The ITTF will make a decision about the Championships in June.
